The spring bushes are an indispensable part of the suspension configuration of any vehicle equipped with springs. This is a necessary element that plays the role of an intermediary between the spring itself and the body of your car. Spring bushings reduce various noise and vibration phenomena occurring in the direction of travel, and also increase ride comfort.

Rubber or Polyurethane

Standard rubber spring bushings fail pretty quickly. Moreover, when the car is constantly loaded. The spring rubber bush is simply erased by the shackle pin / bolt on which it is located. And the various effects of reagents, dust, fuels and lubricants only accelerate the process of failure.

Polyurethane bushings have a much larger margin of safety and are more resistant to abrasion and various chemical influences. These positive aspects result in less attention being paid to a given vehicle suspension component.
Replacing rubber bushings with Polyurethane ones will ensure their trouble-free operation in any conditions and temperature conditions!

Why spring bushings wear out

The wear of the spring bushings is due to the operation of the car and various features, such as driving style or off-road conditions. The more often the car is subjected to a kind of increased stress, the faster the rubber spring bushings wear out and become unusable.
Replacing rubber bushings with Polyurethane bushings is not just tuning the chassis element of a car, but a guarantee of durability and operation under high loads.

Competent selection and correct choice

When choosing spring bushings, it is necessary, first of all, to proceed from which make and model of car it is planned to install the spare part on. It is also possible to carry out the selection of spring bushings by size.

If the size does not match, if the bushing is less than the assumed landing size in the spring, its working life will be significantly reduced.

The company Polyurethane produces spring bushings of various hardness, which for convenience are divided into colors: green, orange and blue. For heavier machines (for example, TLC), we consider the most preferable hardness of 80 units on the Shore A scale (green), and for lighter cars, such as Toyota Corolla or Toyota Kaldina, we recommend softer bushings with a hardness of 72 units on the Shore A scale (orange).

The hardest (87 units, blue) – for cargo vans and special equipment (Peugeot Boxer and the like). Customized production of non-standard hardness is possible. The choice of stiffness is the privilege of the motorist.
